Events Center

Have your next event at the Krewe of Centaur Events Center, a modern 5,000 square foot facility that accommodates events for up to 300 people. And, if you are catering your event, it features a full kitchen.

Convenient to downtown Shreveport (1.4 miles north of downtown) with parking on the premises, it is an economical and attractive facility for parties, reunions, meetings, and receptions.

Basic Rental Rates

Sunday-Thursday

  • Events ending by 4pm - $300.00
  • Events ending by 10pm - $400.00
  • Events ending after 10pm - $550.00

Friday or Saturday: $550.00

  • Additional fee for the kitchen: add $100
  • Required deposit on all rentals: add $100
  • Krewe members receive a discount on rental

Krewe of Centaur History

The Krewe of Centaur was organized in 1991. The Krewe is bound together by the common goals of building a better community and the pursuit of good family fun.

The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade has grown over the years to become the largest parade in the Ark-La-Tex. We are the second largest in the State of Louisiana, and yes, that includes New Orleans.

We have gotten bigger and better with every year. Our Parade is two Saturdays (10 days) before Fat Tuesday.
